Dashing and powerful cast of real gay men of Hollywood portraying gay roles in this very beautiful movie that shows a menagerie of complex characters. This is a new movie adaptation, from director Joe Mantello and producer Ryan Murphy, whose cast reprise their roles from the Broadway version of it.
The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons and Star Trek’s Zachary Quinto are among the actors playing key roles in the film, which is the second movie version of Mart Crowley’s iconic LGBT+ play of the same name.
None of the cast are new to the source material – with all nine major characters being played by the same actors who took on the roles in the acclaimed Tony Award winning stage revival in 2018.
The rest of the cast includes: Matt Bomer plays Donald, Andrew Rannells plays Larry, Charlie Carver plays Cowboy, Robin de Jesus plays Emory, Brian Hutchinson plays Alan, Michael Benjamin Washington plays Bernard, and Tuc Watkins plays Hank.
