As they say, it’s hard to comment on some private matters especially when it comes to families.
In a statement released on behalf of the Queen on March 9, Buckingham Palace said that “the whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.”
It continued: “The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”
“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members,” the statement concluded.
This is obviously a PR statement but we can expect that marrying a prince is not a fairy tale. There are realities like obligations from royalties to be symbols of stability, power, wealth that refers to a kingdom or let’s say a country. We can be reminded of Princess Diaries or perhaps a movie Grace of Monaco.

There are pros and cons of having this type of “royalties” running a country just like Thailand who is now enforcing various measures to control the protests. If we are to refer t their history, the kings and queens have defined their roles for their country’s independence, economic stability, and source of pride. Perhaps “The Crown” Netflix series makes the British royal family more interesting.
But this is Harry, the son of one of the most notable princesses in the world, Diana. He has his own share of exciting background and may soon get used of being a true “commoner”.
Oprah said that it was almost 3 hours of interview but was compressed since it aired exclusively in CBS and we got a lot of surprising details. If being part of their family can be tough, then that’s somehow relatable to a lot of families around the world. We make choices and we have to stick to the repercussions no matter how hard it may be, especially in Harry’s case that he has growing family and will now be welcoming a daughter.
I hope that this interview would strike good benefits to the couple, aside from the Netflix, CBS, Spotify.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey during their primetime interview that they ‘had no plan’ to ink multi-million-dollar deals with the ‘streamers’ when they first quit the royal family.
But Harry said they were forced to find ways of making money when the royal family cut him off and took away his security.
Insisting that their deals with the streaming giants – which are believed to be worth upwards of $100 million – were ‘never part of the plan’, Harry, 36, said: ‘That was suggested by somebody else by the point of where my family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us.’
In the bombshell interview, Harry sensationally revealed his family ‘cut me off financially’ and said he was only able to step away from royal life thanks to money left to him by his late mother Princess Diana.
‘I’ve got what my mum left me, and without that, we would not have been able to do this,’ he said.
